Baby and Child First Aid for Families: 2 hours ‘in-person’

We know how hard it is to juggle a working life and find the time to learn vital paediatric first aid and life-saving skills. The session is delivered in a relaxed, friendly manner. Our experienced paediatric first aid trainers will be focused on equipping you with the knowledge of how to react appropriately to an emergency or injury.

Cost: For up to 5 attendees

Location: Our trainer will join you at your location*. 

When: Mutually agreed date and time

Course Contents

  • Dealing with emergencies
  • Priority of treatment 
  • Contents of a First Aid Kit
  • Care of casualties including non-responsive and breathing 
  • Recovery position
  • Child and Baby Resuscitation CPR 
  • Dealing with bleeding
  • Febrile convulsions and meningitis
  • How to respond if a baby or child is choking
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance. This session does not enable you to be defined as a qualified First Aider, if you would like to undertake either a 6 or 12 hour course please ask us for details.
*The trainer will need a parking space as they will be transporting teaching resources. If street parking is the only option the trainer will need to pass on any incurred parking costs.
